Group, headquartered in Germany, which is the oldest pharmaceuticals
and chemicals company in the world.
In pharmaceuticals, we manufacture and market well-known
pharmaceutical brands such as Neurobion®, Sangobion® and Glucophage®.
In the Chemicals business, Merck markets a whole range of laboratory
reagents, pigments and other specialty chemicals.
To accelerate our growing business, we are looking for a
result-driven, dynamic and energetic candidate to fill the vacant
position as:

Procurement Staff

Responsibilities:

Issuing purchase order for material within his/her
responsibilities, and direct purchase for some non inventory
materials.
Follow up order to ensure that all material arrive or available
according to production schedule or at the requested time
Asking quotation, negotiate and follow up on order confirmation
and supporting documentation from supplier
Responsible for any incompliance coming from supplier & monitoring
the progress
Filing document e.g. purchase order, quotation, shipping document
that related to ordering process

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree
At least 1 year of working experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain field
Preferably in Pharmaceutical/FMCG industries
Knowledge in inventory management
Knowledge in export/import procedures & terms of delivery and
international payment terms
Having Presentation and Negotiation skills
Fluent in English
Familiar with Ms Office (excel. word, PowerPoint) and ERP system,
e.g. Scala, SAP
